Coach Thompson is both a Commissioner of a rapidly growing local youth football program and a High School Football Coach .

Voted 2011 Fairfax County Youth Football League Commissioner of Year.

Member of USA Football and the International Youth Conditioning Association

COACHING EXPERIENCE

YOUTH FOOTBALL:

Starting with just 30 returning players in March 2008, Coach Thompson led an effort that grew Fairfax Police Youth Club Football (FPYC) to 281 registered players, 60 coaches and 15 teams in 29 months.

In 2010, FPYC produced its 1st Coach of the year, 5 Honorable Mention Players of the Year and its 1st County Championship team in 15 years.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL:

2010  Defensive Coordinator Linebacker and Quarterback Coach at Flint Hill HS. In 2010, directed  defensive unit that finished 3-1 in conference play and produced two All-Conference performers. Quarterback was selected team MVP. Coach Thompson also programs and leads the off-season training and development for the Flint Hill football team.

ATHLETIC EXPERIENCE:

Washington & Lee University Lexington, VA. Football. Wrestling. 4 year starter as a DB. Member of ODAC Championship Football team. 2 time All-ODAC Performer.

Washington-Lee High School Arlington, VA. Football. Wrestling. Track. Two year Captain Wrestling and Football. All District Honors: Quarterback
